WATSA
About WATSA
WATSA is our Annual Walk-A-Thon & Silent Auction, hosted by MPTO.
WATSA began in 1993 - combining efforts of a walk-a-thon and a silent auction into ONE community-wide event that would bring creativity and fun together while raising dollars for school programs. WATSA has evolved from its early days to now include an online auction, a wine corner and exciting parties for all ages. This full day event has become a signature event for Montclaire which kids and parents look forward to every year.
What can I expect at the Walk-A-Thon?
The kids walk to raise money for school programs and earn prizes along the way as they reach lap milestones. They can take breaks at any time to play carnival games, enjoy a snack, and bid at the kids' raffle. As always, there will be lots of great food and a DJ setting an upbeat, festive atmosphere.
What can I expect at the Silent Auction?
- The Silent Auction will focus on family parties, adult parties, and experiences with our teachers and staff.
- The emphasis continues to be on experiences and events that build our community. Families will have the opportunity to bid on these events and parties as well as enter to win exciting raffle prizes.
- Our school’s tradition of offering individual Grade Projects featuring our children's smiling faces will be continued.
How can I get involved?
